Privacy Policy for LinkedIn CRM Connector
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. Purpose
LinkedIn CRM Connector helps users quickly check whether a LinkedIn profile already exists in Advantage CRM and add new contacts from LinkedIn to the CRM.
2. Data We Process
To provide the extension functionality, we may process:
- Profile details visible on LinkedIn pages (such as name, position, company, and profile URL).
- Authentication/session data required to connect to the CRM backend.
- Basic extension activity state (for example, local timer/session state).
- Relevant tab/page URL information required to detect LinkedIn profile context.
3. How We Use Data
- Check if a profile already exists in CRM.
- Create/update CRM contacts on user action.
- Keep extension session and status synchronized with the CRM.
- Support optional activity/timer workflows integrated with the CRM.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is transferred only to the services required for extension operation, including the configured Advantage CRM backend and its database infrastructure.
5. Storage and Retention
The extension stores a limited set of operational data in Chrome extension storage (for example, host/session settings). CRM records are stored according to your CRM backend retention rules.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and restrict data use to the extension single purpose described above.
7. User Controls
You can stop data processing by disabling or uninstalling the extension. You can also remove related data from your CRM system according to your internal workflows.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
